Built for wind tower shells
The EZHONG wind tower bending machine is a CNC variable-geometry three-roll plate rolling system for tubular tower sections and cones. It targets fabricators that need thickness capacity, width coverage, and repeatable pre-bend/rolling quality for energy projects.
Control and drive
- Upper roll: main drive via hydraulic motor and planetary reducer
- Lower rolls: independently driven
- Upper-roll lift: hydraulic cylinder, computer control, automatic leveling, screen display
- Synchronization accuracy: about ±0.2 mm
- Lower-roll center distance: independently adjustable at each end for small or large diameters
- Cone rolling: stopper on the overturning-side lower-roll seat; general cone angle about 30° at roughly 50% full load
Published heavy example
Example model EZ2XW11SY-YT-260×4200: maximum plate width about 4200 mm and maximum plate thickness about 260 mm.
Productivity claims on the product page
EZHONG states high-efficiency rolling speeds and that a cone roll can be completed in about 20–30 minutes on a properly set process. A full coiling system can be operated by a single trained operator, with fixed console plus remote button box and safety interlock devices.
