Role of the W43C series
The EZHONG W43C plate straightening / roller leveller series targets plants that need reliable correction of waves, scoop shapes, and residual stress patterns after cutting, welding, or rolling.
Drive and control
Upper and lower main rolls are fully driven by two motors, with emergency braking and soft start to reduce grid impact and noise. The depressing-corner and corner mechanisms share group technology with YEJ motors so the movable beam can position accurately and swivel quickly.
Roll and bearing design
Upper and lower supporting rolls use multi-row diameter supports arranged in a chessboard pattern with the work rolls. An integral inclined-iron mechanism fine-tunes roll shape. Work-roll journals use rolling-mill self-aligning needle bearings for lower friction and better thin-plate grip than copper sleeves.
Technology background
EZHONG states that W43C development absorbed German and Japanese leveler practice and, since 1994, transplanted control technology from its large CNC bending machines into roller levelers—creating a family of products with independent intellectual property.
