Heavy Industrial Manufacturing Campus & Machinery Capacity
EZHONG operates an expansive 200,000 m² state-of-the-art heavy machinery manufacturing campus in Ezhou, Hubei Province, China. As a national pioneer in large-scale metal forming and plate rolling technology since 1958, our facilities are equipped to handle end-to-end fabrication of ultra-heavy plate bending rolls, high-rigidity leveling machines, and heavy hydraulic presses.
Heavy Machining, Forging & Assembly Infrastructure
The production complex hosts over 800 sets of primary manufacturing and testing equipment, including:
- Heavy-duty CNC floor-type boring and milling machines capable of processing multi-hundred-ton frames and housings.
- Large-capacity intermediate frequency surface quenching and induction hardening lines ensuring roller surface hardness up to HRC 50–55.
- High-tonnage overhead bridge cranes capable of tandem lifts exceeding 300 tons for super-heavy machine assembly.
- Precision cylindrical roll grinding machines with computer-controlled crowning calculation for precision roller fabrication.
Global Delivery & FAT Inspection Standards
All heavy plate forming equipment undergoes strict Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), including full-load simulation, hydraulic pressure stabilization tests, synchronization verification, and laser geometry inspection before international packaging and sea freight dispatch.
Quality Control

Comprehensive Quality Management & ISO Certification
EZHONG adheres to rigorous international quality management systems certified under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and CE industrial safety directives. Every plate rolling machine and leveler is engineered to meet or exceed strict heavy-industry standards for pressure vessels, offshore wind structures, and marine shipbuilding.
Material Testing & Non-Destructive Examination (NDE)
To guarantee the structural integrity and operational safety of high-load components, our dedicated quality control department conducts comprehensive testing throughout the manufacturing cycle:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT): 100% volumetric inspection on all forged alloy steel working rolls and primary load-bearing pins.
- Magnetic Particle Testing (MT): Surface defect detection on high-stress weld seams, hydraulic cylinder mounts, and machine frame joints.
- Spectrometric Chemical Analysis: Metallurgical composition verification for 42CrMo, 35CrMo, and proprietary forged roll alloys.
- Hydraulic & Electrical System Safety: Rigorous 72-hour pressure holding tests and PLC software redundancy checks.
Full Traceability & Inspection Documentation
Each export machine is accompanied by complete inspection dossiers, including material test certificates (MTRs), heat treatment curves, accuracy inspection reports, and CE conformity declarations.
